Privacy by design
Your images never leave your device. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. There are no servers processing your files - not because we promise not to, but because there is no mechanism to do so.
Production-grade encoding
We use mozjpeg for JPEG, libwebp for WebP, and oxipng for PNG - the same encoders used by large-scale image pipelines. Most browser tools rely on whatever the browser does internally; we compile and run real codecs via WebAssembly for consistently smaller, sharper output.
No account, no limits
Every tool is free, forever, with no account required, no watermark, no file size cap (beyond your device's available memory), and no limits on how many times you use it. We don't collect usage data, track conversions, or serve ads.
Built on open standards

Why the output quality is better
Most browser-based image tools produce mediocre output because they rely on whatever the browser decides to do internally. The quality varies between Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and is often suboptimal.
imgresizer.org compiles real encoding libraries - mozjpeg, libwebp, and oxipng - to WebAssembly and runs them directly in your browser. These are the same codecs used in professional image pipelines and CDN optimization stacks. The result is consistently smaller files at any given quality level, with no perceptible difference in output sharpness.
That is why a compressed image from this tool will often be noticeably smaller than one from a tool that looks similar on the surface.
